A scrappy dog named Bob and his best friends, Ivan the gorilla and Ruby the elephant, undertake a dangerous journey to seek Bob's long-lost sister, but a storm is approaching and time is running out.

Feeling grumpy when he is awakened early, a little gorilla identifies an assortment of animals who collectively interrupted his rest and is gently comforted back to sleep, in a real-aloud cumulative rhyme story featuring images of exotic jungle creatures.
