Thirteen-year-old Skye, who lives at Keystone Stables with her foster parents and wheelchair-bound foster sister, has been wondering about her real parents, and, with God's help, she is finally able to meet them.

Skye and Morgan have their hands full trying to share friendship and God's love with Tanya, a new foster child in the Chambers' household, who is a veteran shoplifter and a runaway but who shows surprising devotion to a mare and her foal.

Although Skye has looked forward to teaching Katie, a blind camper, about riding and handling horses, Katie's bitterness over being blind and her parents' upcoming divorce challenge Skye's ability to teach and to share God's love.
