Description
Thousands of young men and women came to Nebraska during WWII to receive training and become part of the United States Army Air Corps. The majority of those who trained at Nebraska's twelve army airfields went on to fight the enemy overseas, but for many it was their final home. This is the previously untold story of those brave individuals who had given their lives on Nebraska soil and have never been fully recognized for their role in helping to defeat the enemy.
